Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Arndt Lüder studierte an der Otto-von-Guericke Universität, wo er 1995 sein Diplom in Mathematik und in 1997 sein Diplom in Wirtschaftsmathematik ablegte. Von 1995 bis 2000 arbeitete er am Lehrstuhl für Automatisierungstechnik (Professor Hanisch) erst an Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg und später an der Martin-Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg. An letzterer erlangte er 2000 den Titel eines Dr.-Ing. Seit 2001 arbeitet er an der Fakultät für Maschinenbau der Otto-von-Guericke Universität. Dort leitet er seit 2006 den Bereich Fabrikautomation und habilitierte 2007 zum Thema "Verteilte Steuerungssysteme". Aktuell führt er an der Fakultät Maschinebau kommissarisch den Lehrstuhl für Produktionssysteme und Automatisierung.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Arndt Lüder attended the Otto-von-Guericke University at Magdeburg, Germany, and completed his diploma degree in mathematics in 1995 and in mathematics-economics in 1997. From 1995 to 2000 he worked as research engineer at the chair of automation technology at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg and Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg were he finished its PhD in 2000. Since 2001 he is working at the Faculty Mechanical Engineering at Otto-von-Guericke University. Here he is leading the research area factory automation since January 2006 and has finalized its habilitation degree as affiliated professor for distributed control systems in 2007. Currently he ist he acting head of the chair of production systems and automation at the Faculty Mechanical Engineering.
