Exhibition: "WE ARE PART OF CULTURE
The art (poster) exhibition shows over 30 personalities from antiquity to the present day who have had a lasting impact on our society and culture. People who loved people of the same sex. People who had a gender theme. The portraits of personalities such as Virginia Woolf, Alan Turing, Frederick II of Prussia, Christina of Sweden, Lili Elbe and Selma Lagerlöf were created especially for the exhibition by nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Ralf König (Cologne), Robert W. Richards (NY), Gerda Laufenberg (Cologne) and Anne Bengard (Berlin). The styles used, from ink, acrylic, stencil and drawing to cartoon and illustration, are as diverse as the personalities presented.
