After the Erasmus+ Mobility

Both before your departure from the host institution and after your arrival back in Magdeburg, you have to take care of a few formalities:

Documents for the International Office at OVGU

Before leaving the partner university, let the employees of the International Office there sign the second part of the Stay Confirmation. Usually, the last day that is relevant for your studies (mostly the day of your last exam) means the end of your subsidized Erasmus+ stay. Please take care of the following formalities within 4 weeks after this date:

  • Send your signed Stay Confirmation to Ms. Caroline Natzel.
  • Write up your study report. This report has to be written on a computer and handed in via the Outgoing Portal. Please use the same login credentials as during your original Erasmus+ application.
  • Fill in the "Participant Report." This is a survey by the European Commission evaluating your stay abroad. The survey take approx. 10 minutes and you will receive an e-mail invitation automatically.
  • In addition to these forms, you must hand the Transcript of Records which the host institution provides to Ms. Caroline Natzel.
Recognition of Credits and Grades from Abroad in Magdeburg and Diploma Supplement

In order for the grades and ECTS that you acquired abroad to be transferred to your studies and grade transcript at home, you also need to hand in your Transcript of Records from the host institution at your examination office at OVGU. You may also need to hand in an offical application form the recognition of credit points.

On finishing your studies at OVGU, you will receive a diploma supplement (a appendix to your diploma which elaborates on the course of study you have taken and also includes your study abroad). The diploma supplement is a standard part of the diploma documents and will be provided automatically as soon as a degree is finished. You do not need to contact your examination office or other institutions at OVGU.
