Duties of the Vice Rector:

The duties of the Vice Rector for Academic Development and Financial Planning are less in the day-to-day business, and more in the initiation and monitoring of long-term processes with strategic importance for the entire university. This concerns personnel and structural issues, the appointment process, the allocation of funds, but also the rectorate's support of, for example, federal programs such as the tenure-track program or the state initiative Galileo Transport.  Most of the processes are not handled by the prorectorate alone, but are accompanied in a leading and moderating role. In this way, even complex processes can be led to the most suitable solutions with a high level of acceptance within the university.
