People in Saxony-Anhalt are living longer and, for the most part, remaining fit for longer, too. This raises a number of questions: How can I get involved in society and help shape it? How can I manage the transition to life after work so that I stay active or even discover new pursuits? What do I need to do to maintain my mental and physical fitness? And what opportunities does lifelong learning offer me?

The first international seniors' congress in Magdeburg aims to provide answers to all these questions. We invite everyone interested—from Saxony-Anhalt and beyond—to join us at Otto von Guericke University. We look forward to engaging presentations, stimulating discussions, and shared sporting activities.

The congress is being held in cooperation with Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, the European university alliance EU GREEN, the State Senior Citizens' Representative Council of Saxony-Anhalt (Landesseniorenvertretung Sachsen-Anhalt e.V.), and the City of Magdeburg.
