ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted to the Master's program, you need a completed degree in a field closely related to medical or electrical engineering. This can be a Bachelor's degree, a university diploma, a Magister degree, or another equivalent qualification recognized in Germany and awarded under the higher education laws of the federal states of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The degree must provide at least 180 ECTS credit points (CP), with the following minimum CP in specific areas:

• At least 20 CP in Mathematics (max. 5 CP missing allowed)
• At least 15 CP in Physics/Medical Physics (max. 10 CP missing allowed)
• At least 20 CP in Electrical and Information Engineering/Electronics (ETIT) (max. 5 CP missing allowed)
• At least 10 CP in Computer Science/Programming (max. 5 CP missing allowed)
• At least 5 CP in Anatomy/Physiology (max. 5 CP missing allowed)

A maximum of 25 CP (according to ECTS) may be missing from these requirements, of which a maximum of 5 CP may be missing in mathematics, 5 CP in ETIT, 5 CP in anatomy, 5 CP in IT and 10 CP in physics or medical physics in order to still be admitted. If more requirements than permitted are missing, an applicant will be informed once of the qualifications he or she would need to acquire elsewhere in order to meet the admission requirements in a new application procedure. No additional requirements will be imposed. The following applies to the assessment of requirements: Study periods, academic achievements and examinations in degree programmes at universities within the scope of the Basic Law and those completed abroad will be credited, provided that no significant differences can be identified. When crediting periods of study, academic achievements and examinations completed outside the Federal Republic of Germany, the Lisbon Convention of 11 November 1997, the equivalence agreements approved by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs and the German Rectors' Conference, and regulations within the framework of university cooperation agreements must be observed.If you are missing required qualifications, you will be informed once about what is needed to meet the requirements. You will not be accepted on the condition that you complete them later- you must meet all the requirement before admission.

No additional conditions or requirements will be imposed. Periods of study, coursework, and examination results from degree programs from Germany or abroad will be recognized as long as it’s equivalent and no major difference exist compared to the German program.

Applicants need to pass a test specially designed for this program by the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

German language proficiency at A2 level (can be submitted by the end of the second semester).
English language proficiency at B2 level, proven by one of:
• TOEFL iBT (minimum 80 points).
• IELTS Academic (minimum 6.0 points).
• Cambridge B2 Certificate or higher.
All certificates must be in translated into English with a certified translation.
