Media, Communication and Marketing

All cross-university activities and conceptual considerations on the topics of media, communication and marketing are concentrated in the central operating unit Media, Communication, Marketing (MKM). The specific tasks and projects in MKM are derived from the defined strategic goals of the university and are geared towards positioning the university in an outstanding way in the regional, national and international competition for researchers, prospective students, students, cooperation partners for research projects and funding bodies from the public and private sectors as well as potential cooperation partners. In the medium and long term, the aim is to generate social, political and economic support for the university in teaching, research and public relations. Another focus of MKM is the active involvement of members and alumni of the university in university life. The central operating unit also offers students and teaching staff further training courses to promote media skills and provides practical support for student media projects.
