Senate Commission on Climate Change

The Senate Commission on Climate was established in March 2022. The founding members are serving on an interim basis until the first regular election.

 

The Commission’s remit

  • To support the University Management, faculties, central services and administration in climate-related decision-making
  • To draft Senate proposals and statements on climate-related issues

Mobility Survey

In the period from October to December 2022, 1351 people at OVGU took part in the mobility survey. A total of 16% of university members took part.

Climate Neutrality at the OVGU

At the meeting on 12.07.2023, the OVGU Senate approved the draft resolution of the Senate Climate Commission to specify the goal of net greenhouse gas neutrality.
