The Summer School to Wisconsin restarts in 2025!

Summer School "American Language and Culture," University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point
 

OVGU's annual excursion to the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point (UWSP), USA, is open to students from all faculties who are interested in American history and culture and who want to improve their English skills during the communication and language course of the programme. B2 (A-level) skills in English are mandatory. The classes focus on oral communication skills and students can expect to gain most in this area. Furthermore, the summer school offers a variety of excursions to American factories, sporting events, nature trails and gives you the chance to participate in a traditional American talent show among other things. Participants will sleep in campus dorms for the first few days and then move in with a host family for the remaining time. We are aiming to include three nights in Chicago before the flight back.

 *Please note: The summer program will take place from August 04 - 24, 2025 at the host university. The total duration of the trip as an OVGU group as well as the price for OVGU students will differ from the information in the flyer, as an additional stay in Chicago and partial financial support from OVGU are planned. The details of the excursion package for OVGU students will be announced here soon.
