Application for interim assistance from the Emergency Relief Fund

The University of Magdeburg's emergency fund provides one-time interim funding of max. 450 euros to Ukrainian prospective students, students, academics, lecturers and guest students in need.

Applications are open to

Prospective students and students of the University (provided they are not already financed by third-party funds, e.g. DAAD scholarship, part-time job as student or research assistant).
Doctoral students (provided they are not employed by the University or receive a scholarship)
Visiting researchers (if they are not financed by third-party funds)

The funds are awarded on the basis of the named criteria and on the basis of the receipt of the application. The funding can only be granted as long as the university has the funding available. Payment is made in cash at the cash desk or as a transfer to students with a current account.

We need the following documents for your application:

Proof of Ukrainian citizenship (copy of passport or identity card)
Students of the University of Magdeburg: certificate of enrolment
from prospective students: if applicable, proof of interest in studying (e.g. by submitting an application or contacting the Department of Student Affairs or the International Office)
for doctoral candidates: Faculty affiliation, name of the supervisor for the doctorate
Visiting scholars: Faculty affiliation, name of supervisor
