Queer perspectives in science and university touch on aspects such as anti-discrimination and diversity, but are also highly relevant for issues of teaching and research as well as for university work culture(s).
The lecture will provide a basic introduction to the contexts of origin and selected research perspectives of Queer Studies & Queer Theory and will discuss examples of current challenges for science and the university.
Afterwards, there will be time for discussion and exchange.

The lecture with subsequent exchange is aimed at all interested parties, prior knowledge is not necessary.

The event is part of CampusPride 2023, which is organized by the student university group OVGU Pride.
