Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships fund individual research projects by postdoctoral researchers. Proposals can be submitted for all scientific disciplines.
There are two types of fellowships:
European Postdoctoral Fellowship
- 1-2-year projects at an institution in Europe (in an EU member state or country associated with the Horizon Europe program)
- Postdocs of any nationality with a maximum of 8 years of research experience (full-time) since their doctorate are eligible to apply
Global Postdoctoral Fellowships
- 1-2 year research stay outside Europe
- followed by a mandatory 1-year return phase in Europe
- Postdocs with a maximum of 8 years of research experience (full-time) since their doctorate and with nationality of an EU member state or a country associated with the Horizon Europe program or "long-term residents" are eligible to apply
The MSCA mobility rule applies to all fellowships: you must not have lived or have carried out your main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the host institution (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships) or in the country of the host institution for the outgoing phase (for Global Postdoctoral Fellowships) for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to the submission deadline.
