Lump Sum Projects in Horizon Europe, June 26. 2025
On Thursday, 26 June 2025, the National Contact Point for Digital and Industrial Technologies (NKS DIT) will host an online seminar on lump sum projects in Horizon Europe. The event offers a brief introduction to the specific features of lump sum funding and highlights the differences between lump sum grants and actual cost grants.
Participants will receive practical tips and insights from ongoing projects to support their own budget planning and proposal writing in the current work programme. This will help you prepare for lump sum calls in the 2025 funding year.
The seminar is aimed at stakeholders from both the industrial and digital sectors. Participation is free of charge.

Coffee Break on “Blind Evaluation” in Horizon Europe
What is blind evaluation? Why is it used, and which calls are affected? This coffee break will focus on the basics, background, and—most importantly—your questions about the blind evaluation process.
Blind evaluation in two-stage proposals was introduced as a pilot during the first part of Horizon Europe. At the beginning of 2025, it was decided to continue the pilot in order to gather more data and insights into its implementation and impact.
The session will provide an overview of the key principles of blind evaluation, highlight the relevant calls in the 2025 work programme, and address your specific questions.

The Future of Digital Investments in the EU July 02. - July 03. 2025
The conference “The Future of Digital Investments in the EU” will take place on 2–3 July 2025 in Aalborg under the Danish EU Presidency.
It will bring together representatives from business, academia, and policy to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and define priorities for Europe’s digital transformation. Guiding questions will include:
• Which research areas should be prioritised?
• What digital technologies should companies invest in?
• How can policymakers prepare for technological transitions?
The NCP network projects IDEAL-IST (Horizon Europe Cluster 4) and DEP4ALL (Digital Europe Programme) will support applicants through dedicated side activities.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is open until 24 June 2025. On-site participants can take advantage of a b2match platform for structured matchmaking sessions.

Gain fresh insights into the world of circular economy! In the three-part online event series “Circular Economy in Focus 2025”, the National Contact Points for Digital and Industrial Technologies (DIT), Climate, Energy, Mobility (KEM), and Bioeconomy & Environment (B&U) will present current EU strategies, funding opportunities, and policy developments related to circular economy.
The opening session on 10 July 2025 will feature a representative from the European Commission giving an update on the Circular Economy Action Plan. This will be followed by a keynote from the Wuppertal Institute highlighting the current scientific perspective, with a focus on holistic project evaluation. The event will conclude with input from the NCPs on relevant EU regulations and strategies.

The co-programmed partnership “AI, Data and Robotics” invites you to the third edition of the AI, Data and Robotics Forum (ADRF), taking place on 23–24 September 2025 at the Stavanger Forum in Norway.
Join visionary keynotes, thought-provoking panel discussions, and parallel sessions with industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers addressing key industrial and societal challenges related to AI, data, and robotics.
The event is organised by the AI, Data and Robotics Association (Adra) in collaboration with the European Commission and local hosts NORCE, SINTEF, and EDIH Oceanopolis, with support from the Adra-e project.
