Live chat to start the summer semester at the OVGU

02.04.2020 -

The Corona pandemic is also turning studying and working at the University of Magdeburg upside down. Lectures on campus cannot take place, exams have to be postponed, the campus is as if swept clean. The management of the university is doing everything possible to support its students and staff in this time. Nevertheless, in these fast-moving times, many questions arise among students.

The Rector, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Strackeljan, and the Vice Rector for Studies and Teaching, Prof. Franziska Scheffler, informed the students about the current state of affairs in a live chat on YouTube just in time for the start of the semester and answered questions that had already been sent in and asked in the live chat.

The 40-minute chat dealt with topics such as the digital semester, postponement of exams and oral examinations. If you missed the stream, you can watch it again on the YouTube Channel of the University of Magdeburg. English subtitles are available for our international students.

In the chat, not all questions could be answered at once. An overview of the most frequently asked questions can be found in the FAQs for students.

Here you can watch the live chat of April 1st again
