General Overview and Conditions of Participation

You should thoroughly acquaint yourself with the topic of an Erasmus+ exchange term at least 1.5 years before your envisioned start date abroad.

Where can I find relevant information?

The International Office and the individual faculties provide various opportunities for you to gather information about an exchange term with Erasmus+:

  • Our exchange database offers a list of all currently available exchange opportunities for your course of study. Please make sure to enter your degree course and your home faculty into the search fields because placements outside of your faculty partnerships are not available to you. You can also find former participants' reports in the database giving you information about specific partner countries and universities.
  • The International Office hosts regular office hours for on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can make an appointment directly online.
  • Upon invitation by the faculties or departments, the International Office organizes information seminars about studying or internships abroad for specific courses of study. Also, we host an evening talk called „Study&Travel“ engaging with all things staying abroad once every semester.
  • Designated coordinators at each department or faculty will support you regarding your Erasmus+ mobility. They will consult specifically on topics such as transferring credit points from your host institution to OVGU and about your Learning Agreement (LA).
  • You can stay up to date via our Social Media channels on Facebook and Instagram. In addition, the flyers and websites of the DAAD and Studieren-Weltweit contain further useful general information.
