GO EAST semester grants of DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service)

For the autumn semester 2020/21, the study programme European Studies (EUS) offers their students GO EAST (DAAD) study abroad grants (monthly scholarships of 300€ plus a one-time travel grant of 425€) for 5-month stays for studies at one of  the following partner universities:

-          Kazan University/Russian Federation;
-          Linguistic University of Nishnij Novgorod/Russian Federation;
-          St. Petersburg State University /Russian Federation.

Every year, several students of EUS may study at the above partner universities for one semester, by taking courses which will be fully accredited to their EUS study programme. Most of the courses will be given in English language, and  the students have many opportunities to further improve their already existing Russian language skills. Depending on the number of GO EAST semester grants available, the students may apply for the grant and may be elected to receive it.

For the spring semester 2020 and/or the winter semester 2020/21, the Faculty of Economics and Management offers two of their students a GO EAST (DAAD) study abroad grant for 5-month stays for studies at  the following partner university (monthly scholarship of 300€ plus a one-time travel grant of 425€):

-          Financial University Moscow under the Government of Russian Federation.

Every year, several students may study at the above mentioned partner university for one semester, by taking courses which will be fully accredited to their OVGU study programme. Most of the courses will be given in English language, and  the students have broad opportunities to improve their Russian language skills. In the calendar year 2020, two GO EAST scholarships have been awarded by the DAAD. The scholarships will be granted to students who have applied under the WELTWEIT programme for a study place at the above mentioned university.
