Campus Pitch: International Outreach on June 3, 2025 at 1:15 pm
The Campus Pitch at the Otto-von-Guericke-University continues and international Students from all study backgrounds can expect an exciting opportunity!
On June 3, 2025 starting at 1.15 pm under the tent in front of building 18 on campus, international students can explore the university’s vast network of companies and student initiatives, in short, 1-minute pitches. The event will take place in presence in English language under the tent in front of building 18. Register here now.
Representatives from different companies will give an insight on job opportunities and career options. Different student initiatives will share how you can get involved and actively shape your university experience and life on campus. Throughout the event, interested students will have the chance to further engage with the companies' and student initiatives' representatives and explore available options.

KID's products and services control the central IT processes within public administration (including the state capital Magdeburg, other local authorities) and companies in the public sector in particular. |

AIESEC, founded immediately after World War II, pursues the goal of "Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind's Potential" and challenges its members to take responsibility and promote intercultural exchange. Through social projects abroad, AIESEC enables young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 to improve their skills, take responsibility and immerse themselves in a new culture, while being supported by a global alumni network and workshops. |
Debattierclub Magdeburg founded in 2007, the club set its goal to strengthen the democratic culture of debate among the student body and society. They host weekly debates about controversial topics, but also organize public debates with other organizations. Additionally, they also host competitions, such as the "Campus-Debatte Magdeburg 2025". | |

Orchesterrat des Akademischen Orchesters Magdeburg manages and plays the musical part for the academic events at the OVGU. Its members consist of students, employees and alumni of both OVGU and the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. Outside of academic events, it also plays at other events in the city of Magdeburg. The "Orchesterrat" represents the organizatorial part of the orchestra. |

VWI - HG MD e.V. is part of the VWI (Verband Deutscher Wirtschaftsingenieure / German Association of Industrial Engineers) and represents its members in Magdeburg. With a focus on education and leisure, they participate in nation-wide VWI events and hosts multiple social and sport events, such as the annual "Drachenbootrennen" (Dragon Boat Race) and the Spikeball tournament. Furthermore, they organize excursions and visits to companies, such as Porsche, BWM or DHL. |

Hochschulgemeinde (MHG) (Muslimische Hochschulgemeinde OVGU / Muslim University Community) is a student organization at the OVGU, actively promoting the peaceful practice of faith. It organizes information events, dialogue meetings wwith other groups in order to promote interreligious exchange. |

Queer Campus is a student organization at the OVGU, advocating for the rights of queer students and creating a safe space for them. Not only do they host weekly meetings, but also organize public events and booths. |

UMD Racing enables motorsport enthusiasts at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg to build and drive their own racing cars. The team has been competing against other teams on racetracks in Europe in the Formula Student since 2008. |
