Service facilities
Next to the service facilities of the OVGU, the university offers an International Meeting Center (IBZ) for scientists.
It provides the opportunity to a communicative, scientific, and cultural exchange of German and foreign scientists, who work in the Magdeburg area.
At the International Meeting Center (IBZ) it is possible to establish new personal relations to other scientists and to develop a scientific co-operation in a pleasant atmosphere. The IBZ provides a nice setting for events of this type.
Living quarters for foreign guests and their families are integrated into the IBZ. Moreover, the IBZ provides comfortable apartments for long-term stays, which make an integration into the German daily life easier for visiting professors and scientific staff of the OVGU.
