The International Office would like to support you before, during and after your stay in Magdeburg, regardless of whether you come to our institution as applicant, student, intern, researcher or employee. At Leben in Magdeburg , you can get information about culture and leisure, housing, German language courses and service offerings at OVGU. Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or problems. A member of our team will be glad to give advice.

In addition to giving advice and support by the International Office, there are initiatives which help to enhance integration and leisure activities in Magdeburg: Both, IKUS (InterKulturelle Studenten) for international students and MIPS (Magdeburg International PhD Students) for international doctoral students offer various activities and programs.

In her capacity as Representative for Foreigners' Affairs, Prof. Dr. Barbara Deml advocates the interests of the international members and relatives at OVGU. The Representative is responsible for students (full-time and part-time studies) as well as PhD students, researchers and employees.
