The purpose of the meeting will be to bring together the leading scientists and young researchers in the fields related to optical microcavities, the latest results as well as the foundations, and to provide all researchers the creative scientific atmosphere needed to further advance - following well established as well as new paths.

The topics of the workshop include but are not limited to

  • Whispering gallery modes

  • Quantum chaos in microcavities

  • Coupled cavities

  • Microcavity device applications

  • Microwave cavities

  • Random lasers and other atomic, molecular and optical physics

  • Light-matter interaction in microcavities

  • Non-Hermitian physics in microcavities

This workshop is from Nov. 6th to 10th. The arrival date is Nov. 5th. The location is in Physikzentrum, Bad Honnef, University of Bonn.
