LEONARDO-Office Saxony-Anhalt (ComEAST) - is responsible for the programme LEONARDO DA VINCI, funded by the European Union, serving all universities and polytechnics in the federal state of Saxony Anahlt and the Polytechnic Wismar (Mecklenburg Vorpommern).

Within the framework of the programme LEONARDO DA VINCI, students can take part in transnational European internships. ComEAST offers internships to German students in other European countries as well as internships in companies in Saxony Anhalt to European students. All participants in the programme receive a grant.

The  Leonardo Office Saxony Anhalt was founded in 1991. It is located in the University of Magdeburg. In January 2005, ComEAST received the European Quality in Mobility Award for its work.
