Lifelong learning

Lifelong learning – the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg offers its staff a range of lifelong learning opportunities including in-house programmes. We also offer seminars for particular professional groups.

Applications to take part in lifelong learning programmes must be submitted to the Personnel Department before the deadline. Details of the programme organiser and a description of its content should be submitted together with the application.

Recommendations regarding participation and payment of costs are made by the Education Committee (Bildungsausschuss). The Personnel Council (Personalrat) makes the decision, whether a member of staff can participate or not. As a rule the Education Committee meets on the last Tuesday of the month.
