At the Otto-von-Guericke University there exist various methods codified in fixed rules to assure the quality of teaching.
The group “Quality Assessment” is responsible for coordinating and supervising the evalution procedures.
Quality assessment mainly consists of:

  • External evaluation
    The university is a member of the Evaluation Network Science ( ENWISS)* and in this context responsible for realising evauation procedures.
  • Evaluation of courses
    At the end of each semester students may evaluate the courses they attended.
    Therefor they may use standardised questionnaires provided to the teaching staff and the student council.
    The electronical system to analyse the questionnaires  EvaSys* is available to all faculties.
  • Accreditation
    Bachelor and Maste programmes are successively undergoing the accreditation procedure realised by on their part accredited agencies.
